The Program:


Her Time was co-founded by Detective Anisha Parhar and Sergeant Sandy Avelar, who serve the community with the Vancouver Police Department.


The gang crime unit's experiences have made it evident that action is required to provide education and resources to females who are either involved in, or are vulnerable to, organized crime. The unit has devoted innumerable hours of their personal time to present crucial information to young people, train other organizations, and provide personalized assistance.
